What’s INI3D?

INI3D is abbreviation of ITS (Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember) now in 3D. What’s 3D? We make a 3D map of our campus (ITS Surabaya) for promotion or others needs (education).

Why 3D?

Using 3D, you can see the real place or object.

Not just 3D..

You can interact with all of objects in 3D map like the reality. Touch, push, pull, type, or whatever you can do with the objects and then you can look the reaction cause of your action (we called it as collision/physics).

How to make interactive 3D map?

We decided to use Unreal Engine versi 3 which called UE3/UDK, one of famous game engines. Using UDK, we (and also you) can generate 3D view of someplace easier. An awesome, you can generate your own code using UnrealScript and make your special 3D application.

Not too much words, below is our time line to generate the final INI3D map.

INI3D version 1.0 was released.
