4th review! Hello guys, welcome back! Still follow our posting? You have to
. Okay, next review, Civil Engineering (part 2) and Architecture (part 1). Titus Damaiyanti as developer. What will you think about 3 building with 3 floors? Ahahaa.. pretty hard huh? And almost of the rooms are laboratory. Yah! Titus had made this! We called it, The Great Map. She build frontier between Civil Engineering and Architecture. These are d’screenshots. Check these out!

Fyuuh, 3rd Review! Why Part I? Because, some parts of Civil Engineering Department also were done by Titus Damaiyanti. In this part, we’ll give Civil Engineering Part I review for you, Fitrah Mp as developer. This map was called The Interactive Map. May be, cause of amount of the interactions in this map. Okay, this is the screenshot. Happy reading!
If on previous post we discussed about D’Complex Map, now, we will give you a review of The Most Beautiful Map. Azlan Mufti as developer had developed Environmental Engineering as Netherlands : cool:. You can see the beautiful of the garden.
Yup, see?! We have some screenshots of this department. Enjoy it and give a comment! Continue Reading
On previous post, we share INI3D main features, Here are the explanation, Hope you will get clear,
1. Main Menu
This Menu’s displayed on the opening of the application, before this menu come out, ther are 2 opening movie come first. With this menu, user can choose what map he will explore, what resolution, and then start exploring map after this. In this main menu there are 7 map. I will be explain more in Choose map menu
2. Change resolution
This menu allowed user to change application resolution, List of resolution that can be set are , 800 x 600, 1024 x 786, and many more. To set resolution, user must klik until display of uesr choosen resolution came out, then don’t forget to click “simpan perubahan”. After user set and click “simpan perubahan”, the menu will go to main to exploring map. User can directly start exploring map without choosing what map he wanna explore first
Good news,
After passing the second judgement on Friday 23th September at Fx, Senayan, INI3D will participate on INAICTA(Indonesia Information and Communication Technology Award) 2011 final Exhibition. This exhibition will be held from Tuesday 4th to Wednesday 5th October 2011 at JCC (Jakarta Convention Center).
To support us, don’t forget to visit our galery and win some cool merchandise.
You can follow INI3D twitter @INI3D
well, long time no see
After a long time and hard work we’ve released first version of INI3D, we call it INI3D v.1.1, It has more than 5 features. Here they are :
- Minimap 2D
- Signpost
- Teleport
- Flash Interaction
- MiniInfo
- Help
- Change Resolution
- InGame menu
- Credits
Next post, we will explain more about these features
In developing this project, we use non commercial game engine of unreal engine, this is Unreal Development Kit.
This engine is game engine developed by Epic games, Firstly illustrated in 1998 with first-person shooter game Unreal and that is the basis of the next few games. Unreal Engine support for many platforms such as Microsoft Windows, Linux, IOS, Mac OS and many video game consoles Including the Dreamcast, Xbox, PlayStation 2, PlayStation 3. Unreal Engine 3 is the latest release of the Unreal Engine. New Features of Unreal Engine are :
- Unreal Lightmass : global illumination solver
- Unreal Content Browser : viewer and asset manager
- Unreal Master Control Program : service – oriented architecture to build online facility in game.
This game engine has several modules.
- Physics Engine. This module is used to set the collision between two objects
- Input Manager. This module is used to manage inputs, such as the button is pressed, the button off
- Graphics Engine. This module controls what is displayed to the user’s screen. Like the objects what to front. Displaying the material as previously arranged. Up to regulate the lighting of the virtual environment is created.
- Sound Engine. This module set the sound effect of a virtual environment
- Network Infrastructure. Epic Games with Unreal Tournament game has succeeded in developing an efficient network gaming. Features an efficient network gaming is also available in the Unreal Engine.
- Unreal Script interpreter. One scripting language that can be used by programmers to regulate what is done by the engine, without touching the original source code. This script is similar to other well-known programming languages such as Java and C. Even the language is easier than 2 programming language that has been mentioned previously. Unreal Script Interpreter is a convert script created by developers into something that can be processed by the engine.
Unreal engine is also capable of handling some of the problems, able to handle digital media design, and also a quick, direct, and control over the three-dimensional design that is very nearly real than the previous engine.
Another reason to use Unreal Engine 3 is System requirements of computers are quite small. Unreal Engine 3 May 2010 requires minimum specifications:
- Windows XP SP2 or Windows Vista
- 2.0 GHz processor
- 2 GB of system RAM
- SM3-compatible video card
- 3 GB free hard drive space
Recommended specification for developers
- Windows Vista 64 SP2
- 2.0 GHz multi-core processors
- 8 GB of system RAM
- NVIDIA 8000 series or higher graphics card
- Plenty of HDD space
Unreal Engine also provides a tool to create a virtual world that is the Unreal Editor. This editor can also import from 3D tools are already widely used, such as 3D Studio Max.

What is Game Engine ? Yeah this is first therm in our project. You would expect that the answer would be as simple as being shown a car’s engine, yup that is. After all, the game engine, much like a car’s engine, is what makes the game go. Unfortunately, sometimes there’s a fuzzy line between where a game’s engine ends and where the content of a game begins, as if there were a fuzzy line between whether a car’s air conditioner is part of its engine.
Generally though, the concept of a game engine is fairly simple: it exists to abstract the (sometime platform-dependent) details of doing common game-related tasks, like rendering, physics, and input, so that developers (artists, designers, scripters and, yes, even other programmers) can focus on the details that make their games unique.
A game engine is a software system designed for the creation and development of video games. There are many game engines that are designed to work on video game consoles and desktop operating systems such as Microsoft Windows, Linux, and Mac OS X. The core functionality typically provided by a game engine includes a rendering engine (“renderer”) for 2D or 3D graphics, a physics engine or collision
detection (and collision response), sound, scripting, animation, artificial intelligence, networking, streaming, memory management, threading, localization support, and a scene graph. The process of game development is frequently economized by in large part reusing the same game engine to create different games.
Game engines provide a suite of visual development tools in addition to reusable software components. These tools are generally provided in an integrated development environment to enable simplified, rapid development of games in a data-driven manner. These games engines are sometimes called “game middleware” because, as with the business sense of the term, they provide a flexible and reusable software platform which provides all the core functionality needed, right out of the box, to develop a game application while reducing costs, complexities, and time-to-market—all critical factors in the highly competitive video game industry.
Modern game engines are some of the most complex applications written, frequently featuring dozens of finely tuned systems interacting to ensure a precisely controlled user experience. The continued evolution of game engines has created a strong separation between rendering, scripting, artwork, and level design. It is now common, for example, for a typical game development team to have several times as many artists as actual programmers.
There’re more than 30 game engine, for example :
- Cry engine
- Unreal Engine
- Infinity Engine
- Adventure Game Studio
- and others
